On 13-7-2015, I had the privilege of meeting Sri B.N. Mohapatra Advisor Accounts Railway Board at Chennai. He is the most important person in Railway Board dealing with our Accounts cadre. Many issues were discussed with him on Accounts cadre. One of the most important issue was the MACP issue for CG11 So s, TIA s and ISA s. This file was returned back to the Accounts Cadre from EDPC last month with some Queries. Last week this file was again sent to EDPC with favorable remarks. We hope the EDPC will now do something. Mr Mohapatra had spoken to Mrs Meena Agarwal Secretary VII Pay Commission to settle the anomaly issue before the implementation of Pay Commission. Let us hope for the best. The verdict of the Review petition filed by Rly Bd is also expected shortly.

Report of our Delhi trip by AIRASA leaders.
GS, President, Working President, Sec.Finance and Addl.Gen.Sec were in Delhi from 6th to 8th Aug. We met the top Officials in Railway Board, submitted four Memorandums and discussed in detail with them. The first Memorandum was on Vth PC arrears. 2nd was on MACP for CG 2 SO`s. 3rd was Gaz. status, 4th was Denial of 3rd MACP of 5400/- for AA`s who have completed 30 years in some Railways. We have also spoke about denial of MACP to those who come on transfer from one Railway to another and had got pay protection. Regarding MACP for CG 2 SO`s the Railway Board officials are playing foot ball with this file. There are some officials who are very much interested in giving but there are some people who are obstacles to this. Anyhow this file has now gone to EDPC and then to member staff with favorable remarks. On 11th Aug the Review petition filed by Railway Board regarding this is coming for hearing. We hope for favorable verdict. Next I had caught hold over an Ex MP from Tamil Nadu who is now the Secretary of All India Ex MP`s Association of India, He took us to Railway Ministers Chamber and the first three Memorandums were submitted to him. Next we went to our Advocate Smt Sumitha Hazarika with whom we AIRASA had already filed the vth Pc arrears case on behalf of the entire Accounts fraternity of Indian Railways. She said the case will come for hearing on 7th. Our case No was 55 but on that day only upto 45 was taken up, for want of time it was adjourned to 2nd of sept. We are expecting a favorable verdict on that day. So Dear Comrades do not be frustrated, we all will get the arrears and MACP. It is only a question of time. Rly Board officials can only delay it but not deny it, provided we all are united under one banner AIRASA as this is the only Assn. that cares for you and your family Thanking you,
